Job Overview: As Facility Manager you will oversee the daily operations of our co-warehousing facility, ensuring it is maintained to the highest standards and operates smoothly. This role is crucial for preserving the functionality, safety, and efficiency of our space, catering to diverse businesses that rely on our facility for their operations. Key Responsibilities: Daily Operations Management Manage and coordinate logistics, maintenance, and on site activities, working with the Community Manager to ensure residents have the best experience possible. Assist the Community Manager in resolving help desk queries in a timely and ecient manner and take part in weekends and holidays rotas. Ensure site is always clean and well maintained Safety and Compliance Develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments, addressing any issues promptly. Facility Maintenance Ensure the facility, including all equipment and infrastructure, is maintained to the highest standards. Schedule and supervise routine maintenance and repairs to prevent any operational disruptions. Manage any operational disruption quickly and efficiency to ensure minimal effect on residents with facility downtime being directly managed according to agreed targets. Carry out Monthly site audits and report on them accordingly Budget Management Monitor and manage budgets for facility operations, prioritising cost effective allocation of resources. Oversee capital projects, from planning to execution within a timely and budget conscious manner, ensuring costs are aligned with Facilities P&L. Ensure all amenities are tracked and updated within targets and annual budget. Ensure bad debt and resident onboarding costs are managed, controlled and in line with the annual budget. Vendor and Contractor Relationship Management Manage relationships with vendors and contractors to maximise quality service and timely deliveries. Oversee the procurement and inventory management of facility supplies and equipment. Operational Efficiency Identify areas for operational improvement and develop strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Implement best practices in facility management to optimise the use of space and resources. Performance Monitoring Monitor and report on key performance metrics related to facility operations. Use data to drive decisions and improvements in facility management practices. Manage, track and update energy monitoring and ensure it aligns with the annual budget. Warehouse Management Assist in overseeing loading and unloading of deliveries within the co warehousing site. Assist the Community manager in signing in/out goods and ensure the area is clean and well maintained.
