Your Career
As a Sales Manager within our Account Management team for Public Sector customers, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, achieving annual sales targets, and enhancing customer retention and satisfaction. You will work collaboratively with the Account Management team to maximise opportunities and deliver exceptional value to our valued customers.
Your Team
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Account Management team to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals. Regular engagement with customers, at least once every 90 days, will be essential to building strong and lasting relationships. You will prepare detailed activity and forecast reports for review by the Executive team and develop a deep understanding of the business environments and challenges faced by customer leadership teams. Presenting MHR’s strategic vision will be a key responsibility, aligning our objectives with the priorities of our customers.
You will support Sales and Marketing initiatives to drive pipeline and sales growth while working with customers to co-create joint vision roadmaps that outline the value MHR will deliver. Partnering with New Business and Marketing teams, you will ensure that campaigns align with customer needs and external influences. Actively managing the sales pipeline will be critical to consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
Engaging with prospects to articulate MHR’s value proposition and closing deals successfully will be a central part of the role. Maintaining accurate records of your daily activities in Salesforce will help monitor and assess performance effectively. You will also ensure that all customers are satisfied to the extent that they can serve as positive references for MHR. Collaborating with the Customer Success team, you will address any issues proactively to enhance the overall customer experience. This role will also require you to demonstrate expertise in B2B sales or a customer-centric environment, alongside effectively managing opportunities and pipelines to drive results.
Your Impact
To succeed in this role, you will bring exceptional relationship-building and customer-focused skills, along with strong commercial awareness and negotiation abilities. Your organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills will be vital, as will your proven experience in sales and engaging with customers. The ability to foster teamwork and support coaching and mentoring is essential, as is knowledge of APIs and their relevance to customer success strategies.
This role is perfect for a dedicated, customer-focused professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is driven to deliver results. You will have the opportunity to influence customer success, drive growth, and contribute to MHR’s strategic vision, ensuring the satisfaction and retention of our valued Public Sector customers.
