HR Assistant – Guildford Surrey Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (40 hrs/week) on site Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience) Talent Junction is seeking an organised and adaptable HR Assistant for our client, a thriving company in Guildford, Surrey. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support both administrative and HR functions while contributing to a growing business. What You’ll Be Doing: Handle onboarding paperwork. Distributing paperwork for offers of employment and contracts to new starters and ensuring they return on time. Assist with reports, letters, and other administrative tasks. Manage supplier and contractor relationships and maintain office systems. Welcome visitors, organise meeting rooms and coordinate induction training for new starters within the business. Support with Benefits Administration signing employees up for medical and dental schemes among other benefits. Provide support for internal and external inquiries. Assist with Payroll administration ensuring that the relevant documents are sent to the payroll provider. Assist in planning and organising company events and meetings. Maintain vehicle fleet records, including servicing, MOTs, insurance, and leases. Coordinate lunch orders for training days and events. Maintain HR records and manage employee equipment like laptops and mobiles. Assist with recruitment processes, including scheduling interviews Support the delivery of HR and admin projects across the business. Skills & Experience Required: A minimum of 2 years experience in a previous HR role Level 3 CIPD qualification or equivalent. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Proficiency in tools like Excel, Word, and Google Workspace. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism. Strong multitasking and organisational skills, with the ability to work under pressure. A positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with colleagues and stakeholders.
