Position: Receptionist Location: Near Sale (Greater Manchester) Pay: Pay 12.21 to £13.50 (dependent on experience) Full Time Days: Monday to Friday Heart Dental have an exciting position for a Dental Receptionist you will be the first person the patient sees upon entering the practice. The main purpose of the job is to provide friendly and efficient front-of-house service to patients and visitors, book appointments and support the organisation of the diaries and lab orders. Desirable Qualities - Experience in dental Responsibilities and duties: Answering the phone in a polite and timely manner Booking and changing appointments both in-person and over the phone Ensuring patients are booked in upon arrival and the clinicians are made aware. Dealing with incoming enquiries from patients, in person, over the phone or via email. Sending communications to patients using their chosen method. Taking payments and cashing up. Receiving orders from suppliers as appropriate to your job role and notifying the appropriate person. Managing the laboratory orders within the practice. Ensuring orders are sent to lab, tracked and checked off. General administration such as scanning or photocopying. Ensure patient records are kept up to date and stored securely. Be the first point of call for any complaints, be confident in the procedure and direct to the complaints manager as required. Qualities Good, friendly telephone manner Knowledge of diaries and appointments systems. Preferably experience of a Practice Management System Work systematically and communicate to team members effectively. Versatile communication and patience to deal with difficult issues Ability to manage phone systems, email correspondence, and face-to-face queries Following instructions and processes under the guidance of your manager to achieve daily, weekly and monthly tasks.
