Job Description
We have a new opportunity to be part of the Finance team in the role of Financial Analyst .
In this role you will be required to:
* Consolidate and reconcile large data sets across multiple sources to provide single basis for all reporting purposes.
* Work closely with the finance business partner team to own all stakeholder inputs into one single source that can then be used to inform and advise senior leaders (risks and opportunities).
* Assist in the production and development of a reporting suite using Power Bi tools that will provide insightful and accurate dashboards for the wider business. This will involve, but not limited to, Business KPI’s, operating metrics, monthly financial information, cost cap reporting etc.
* Organisation of data sets into accessible reports for the finance business partners and wider finance team to perform analysis through key metrics.
* Working closely with the IT department to leverage ERP information and other data sources into one single finance source.
* Collation and review of KPI’s from across the business to develop and maintain core KPI reporting.
* Perform ad-hoc analysis based on the business requirements to advise on key decisions.
Key skills:
QUALIFICATIONS
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA/AAT part qualified
EXPERIENCE
* Experience of consolidating and reviewing large data sets
* Building and maintaining financial models
* Supporting a finance function in delivering monthly consolidations
* Ideally experience of Power Bi and the power platform suite (DAX, Power Query etc.)
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft products
* Track record of analysis and reporting
* Great communication and interpersonal abilities
* Excellent numeracy and an eye for detail
* Comfortable with large sets of data across multiple sources
* Ability to perform within a fast-paced environment
* Ability to work under pressure, prioritising own work and the work of the team in an organised and accurate manner within tight deadlines, keeping calm and focussed
* Be enthusiastic and versatile and be able to build, develop and maintain good working relationships withing the finance team
