About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is collaborating with a wonderful primary school in Sheffield that is looking for an experienced teacher to join their Year 5 & 6 classes. The role will begin after the Easter half term.
This full-time teaching position involves leading a Year 5 & 6 classes including planning engaging and enjoyable lessons, marking students' work, and participating in school events such as meetings and parents' evenings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons for Year 5 and 6 students.
* Mark student work and provide constructive feedback.
* Attend school meetings, parents' evenings, and extracurricular activities.
* Maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment.
* Support and accommodate the diverse needs of students, including providing SEN support.
Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching KS2
* A fun and engaging teaching approach
* Strong knowledge of the UK Primary Curriculum
* Excellent understanding of SEN with experience supporting students with additional needs
* Strong behaviour and classroom management skills
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (assistance can be provided)
* Recent Safeguarding Training
* Must have a UK address and the legal right to work in the UK
