Nursery: Bright Horizons Didsbury Day Nursery and Preschool
Salary: £24,865.78 - £26,125.00 (full time equivalent / dependant on qualification/s and experience)
Location: [Didsbury, Manchester
We are looking for a part time, nursery-based Housekeeper to join our Bright Horizons Didsbury.
This role is for 25 hours per week.

What you’ll be doing
10. Keep the Nursery a clean and safe environment for the children, staff and families
11. Encourage and model behaviour, which is appropriate in a child environment, being professional at all times
12. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene of the children’s bathroom and nappy change areas throughout the day
13. To carry out daily laundry duties as required
14. To respond appropriately to issues requiring confidentiality, for example being aware of personal information regarding children
15. Be prepared to help where needed, including undertaking of certain domestic tasks within the nursery e.g. supporting over meal times and cleaning of equipment
What we’re looking for
16. Previous experience of cleaning within a domestic or commercial property
17. Food Safety CIEH L2 or above (or equivalent) – this must be passed on day 1 in post
18. Sound knowledge of COSHH and Health and Safety requirements
19. Great communication skills, with both colleagues, children, and parents
