As a Senior IT Support Analyst, you will be responsible for providing advanced technical support, troubleshooting and resolving complex IT issues across hardware, software and network systems. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth IT operations and system performance, offering assistance to other IT staff. This is primarily a 2nd/3rd line role, with some 1st line level support and an opportunity to work on projects across a global setting.
You should be a proactive problem-solver with strong analytical skills and exceptional communication abilities (both verbal and written). A deep understanding of IT systems, along with expertise in troubleshooting, will be key in this role.
You will be proficient in supporting a variety of technologies, including Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022 and Linux environments, Microsoft 365 and typical office networks (firewalls, switches and WAP devices using TCP/IP). Experience with Active Directory, VPNs, MS 365, virtualisation technologies and security tools is essential, as is familiarity with ITIL & Cyber Essentials.
As our ideal candidate, you should have at least 5 years of experience in IT support, with a strong track record of managing escalated support cases. Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA A+, ITIL, VMware, Microsoft 365 Certifications) and experience with ERP systems would be advantageous. This is an office-based role, with your time split between sites in Bridlington and Driffield
