Role Overview: Location: South London, Sutton Sector: Education and Training Position: SEN Teaching Assistant Hours: 8:30am to 1:30pm, Monday to Friday Start Date: ASAP Employment Type: Part-time Contract Salary: £80 - £100 per day (depending on experience) What we are looking for: Experience supporting children with SEN, particularly those with Speech and Language difficulties. A genuine passion for helping children and supporting their individual learning needs within an educational setting. A proactive and flexible attitude, with the ability to adapt to the dynamic nature of a school environment. Excellent communication skills, both with children and colleagues. Ability to commute reliably to Sutton Key Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one and small group support to children in Year 4 and Year 5 with Speech and Language needs. Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs), helping students to meet their learning objectives. Help students improve their communication skills through targeted activities and tailored interventions. Support the classroom teacher in managing behaviour and providing additional assistance as required. Collaborate closely with the SENCo, class teachers, and other staff to ensure a holistic and inclusive approach to learning. Why This Role?
