You will be joining the Technology Team, working alongside the global and local business teams to power Pret’s accelerated business transformation for growth and value creation. The Role The Analytics Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the analytical strategy and capabilities at Pret. Reporting to the Global Head of Analytics & Data Science, you will collaborate across diverse teams including Digital, Finance, Operations, Property, Food & Coffee, and international markets, delivering actionable insights that empower decision-making and support Pret’s growth objectives. This role will also guide the team’s analytics efforts and build the foundational capabilities required for future data science applications. Managing a Data Analyst, you’ll foster a culture of curiosity and data-driven decision-making while driving the adoption of self-service analytics across the business. Key Responsibilities Strategic Analytics Leadership Develop and execute the analytics strategy in partnership with the Global Head of Analytics & Data Science, aligning with Pret’s global objectives. Act as a trusted advisor to teams across Digital, Finance, Operations, and more, delivering insights that drive commercial value and optimise performance. Introduce data science principles and foundational techniques to ensure that Pret’s analytics practices are scalable and future-ready. Team Management & Collaboration Lead, mentor, and coach the Data Analyst, providing opportunities for growth while ensuring high-quality and impactful analytical outputs. Partner with the Data Engineering and Digital Product teams to ensure data reliability, accuracy, and robustness across systems and processes. Insight Delivery & Data Visualisation Utilise tools such as Snowflake, Google Analytics, Tableau, and Power BI to deliver impactful, actionable insights to stakeholders. Work with the Reporting & BI team to enhance self-service analytics capabilities, enabling teams to access and interpret key metrics independently. Process Improvement & Data Strategy Identify and implement opportunities to improve data quality, streamline data sources, and adopt innovative analytical techniques. Contribute to developing Pret’s data literacy initiatives, supporting teams in interpreting and applying data to business decisions. Skills & Experience Essential Skills Extensive experience in analytics, including a track record of managing or leading teams. Strong technical skills, with proficiency in SQL and data visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI). Experience in a global or multi-market organisation, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and geographies. Strategic mindset with the ability to balance big-picture thinking with a detail-oriented approach to problem-solving. Exceptional communication skills, capable of simplifying complex insights for a wide range of stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and experience with e-commerce tools is highly desirable. Basic knowledge of data science techniques (e.g., predictive analytics, machine learning concepts) and the ability to align analytics infrastructure with future data science needs. Familiarity with cloud-based analytics platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks) is advantageous. Personal Attributes Collaborative mindset, adept at building relationships across teams and functions. This role is a Level 3 position with line management responsibility. The salary range for this role is £75,000 - £80,000 per year.
