We have a vacancy within our office-based Wincanton Supply Chain team covering Monday to Fri to hrs but being available for infrequent out of hours calls in the evening and weekends.
The key elements of the role are:
1. Entering emailed and telephoned orders into our Business Central (BC) computer system in an accurate and timely manner and communicating the orders to relevant members of the business
2. Contacting customers for sales orders and any service-related issues
3. Entering third party Supplier despatch information into our BC system in a timely manner
4. Managing the planning of Bruton butter packing
a. Liasing with the Procurement director to agree on cream purchase requirements
b. Liasing with the Bruton production team to agree on weekly packing priorities and butter plan
c. Managing butter stocks to ensure all orders are fulfilled effectively and no distressed butter sales occur as a result of incorrect stock levels
5. Provide Planning back-up to the Cheese planner for holidays
6.Maintaining Customer admin (new customers, new ship to locations and sales pricing etc.) in our BC system and providing sales support information to our Commercial team
The role requires a team player and suits someone who is computer literate with an analytical mind, who is pro-active and able to communicate effectively within a small team, the business as a whole and with external customers.
