Architectural Technician Job in London
We're working with an award-winning architectural and heritage consultancy looking for an experienced Architectural Technologist or Technician to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to prestigious conservation projects in London.

During this time, they have established themselves as an industry leader in planning advice, heritage consultancy, building surveying, conservation, and contemporary architecture.
Working with public bodies, charities, trusts, private companies, contractors, developers, and individuals, this practice has been involved in the care and development of some of the best-loved buildings and places in the UK and abroad. The practice provides sensitive restoration and repair schemes and modern design in historic contexts. Their bold and contemporary designs are spread across a variety of sectors including cultural, master planning, education, ecclesiastical, public, hospitality, residential, and many more.
Role & Responsibilities
Prepare and develop detailed technical drawings, 3D models, and specifications using Revit and AutoCAD
Produce accurate construction details, ensuring compliance with UK building regulations, -industry standards (e.g., BS 19650), and client requirements
Work on Building Information Models (BIM), ensuring accurate and up-to-date project data
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure integrated design solutions- Conduct site visits and inspections, ensuring work is carried out to design and quality standards
Assist in managing project documentation and deliverables, keeping projects on track and within budget
-Engage with clients and contractors, providing technical support and resolving design challenge
Incorporate sustainable design principles, ensuring energy efficiency and environmental compliance
Stay up to date with advancements in Revit and BIM technology to enhance project efficiency.Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 3 years of architectural experience post-qualification
Experience in UK project is essential
Relevant degree BSc in Architectural Technology or a HND in Architecture
Proficiency using Revit and BIM software is essential
Previous experience working on conservation experience would be highly beneficial.What you get back
