About the Academy
Outwood Academy Bydales is an 11–16 school located in the beautiful coastal village of Marske-by-the-Sea, close to the North York Moors National Park and with spectacular views of the coastline. We are extremely proud of our tradition of serving the families of the community of Marske and surrounding areas. This was recognised in our recent ungraded Ofsted Inspection, which stated, “This is a school at the heart of its community” and “This is a calm and orderly school”. Following this inspection, we remain an Outstanding School, and the report rightly celebrated our many strengths.
We place students at the centre of everything we do, with a focus on creating a culture of success, a positive climate for learning and increased student attainment, achievement and social and emotional development. You must possess the skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of our students and share our single goal of ‘Students First, raising standards and transforming lives’.
