Job Overview:
We’re looking for a QA Team Leader to support the operational running of our Quality department. Previous experience in leading a team would be desirable; as would qualifications in Food Safety or HACCP and internal auditing.
The working environment within food manufacturing is fast-paced and susceptible to change, meaning you will need to adapt and react accordingly to a varied workload. Examples of duties include:
* Ensuring that the packed stock meets the required specification and liaising with the Production Team to complete production as efficiently as possible without compromising product quality.
* Taking appropriate action in conjunction with Production Management in the event of any out of specification product.
* Assisting with preparation of the site for audits from both internal and external expectations.
* Managing the site GMP audit system and being a member of the site internal auditing team.
* Assisting with the recording of all necessary KPI information weekly.
* In the absence of the QA Operational Manager, supporting the running of the Department, ensuring team performance and that all QA functions are completed to the required standards, including managing sickness and holiday cover.
You will be joining a very supportive team, who offer a vast amount of knowledge and expertise across our 3 sites.
