Key Responsibilities:
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
Execute processes related to Order to Cash with a focus on efficiency, first-time quality, and overall continuous process improvement as we continue to commercialise our first commercial product. Raise invoices and credit notes for supplies of product across the world. Reconciliation of sales and stock reports. Credit control and following up late payments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Recording sales and inventory movements across the US, EU and ROW, working with both internal teams and external third parties to resolve any differences.
2. Ensuring all processes are performed in line with SOX.
3. Providing the required information to the wider finance team to support filings for government rebates, US state filings, VAT and Nasdaq including related audit queries.
4. Liaising with customers and wholesalers to ensure all outstanding balances are collected promptly.
5. Business partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment between Finance and Commercial teams.
6. Proposing and implementing new processes to improve efficiency within in the team, with a clear focus on automation.
7. Supporting Revenue accounting Gross To net (GTN) practices to ensure compliance with US GAAP ASC – 606.
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Experience & Knowledge:
Essential:
1. Knowledge of financial reconciliations.
2. Solid financial accounting knowledge.
3. Experience of an ERP system (preferably Netsuite).
4. Ability to liaise confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
5. Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
6. Open and honest team player.
7. Previous experience of integrating new processes/systems.
8. Prior experience in Biotech/Pharma industry.
Desirable:
1. Accounting/Finance qualification.
2. Experience in order to cash function and/or working shared service centres.
