If you have customer service experience and you're interested in working for a well-established, family-run business in the Kitchen and Interiors industry, this is an excellent opportunity to gain all-round experience with aspects of Admin, Customer Service, Finance, and Marketing.
In this role, you will work in both showrooms located in Farnham Common and Ashford (Middlesex). The ideal candidate will be a driver and based within a commutable distance of both showroom locations.
Working in a supportive, friendly team who pride themselves on providing an exceptional customer experience, you will receive full training and support. Working hours are 9 am - 5 pm with 2 Saturdays to be worked a month, alternated, with a day off in the week. Salary is £25-28k depending on experience, plus bonuses (OTE £2-3k per annum).
Key Responsibilities
* Welcome visitors and be the first point of contact for anyone visiting the showroom. Show customers around the showroom, answer questions, and deliver an excellent first impression.
* Assist the designers with customer presentations when required, ensuring customers always feel welcomed by offering refreshments.
* Handle general queries from customers and fitters, finding out as much detail as possible and transferring to the correct person.
* Manage calendar and emails: updating calendars, scheduling meetings/appointments, and answering general enquiries sent to all mailboxes including your own. Email customers, colleagues, and suppliers.
* Add orders to Xero and create reports.
* Keep the website up to date with photos, testimonials, new ranges, and events. Post on social media.
Key Requirements
* Previous Customer Service experience, either retail or office-based.
* Excellent communication skills both face to face and over the telephone.
* Keen to learn about different products within the Kitchen and Interior sector.
* Well-organized and able to upsell where necessary.
* Good IT skills, including MS Office.
