The Role:
We’re currently recruiting an Education & Football Development Centre Coordinator within our Global Football Development department to work closely with the Domestic Programme Manager and Operations Manager to develop a strategic plan to enhance our Education & Football Development Centre programme in terms of quality delivery, reach and financial targets. This will include working closely with the programme Head Coaches to support delivery on and off the pitch and to develop a comprehensive recruitment plan in order to continue to expand our reach across all partnerships. The position will involve working irregular hours (e.g., evenings / Saturdays / Sundays / Bank Holidays) so a flexible candidate is sought.
You will support the coordination and development of all Education & Football Development Centre programmes delivered in partnership with our Further and Higher Education providers. This includes the coordinating, planning, strategy, promotion, and recruitment of all post 16+ girls and boys programmes. Ensure that all programme (and associated events) operations, logistics and coaching are delivered in a professional manner and to a high quality, adhering to all relevant Club policies, operating procedures, and coaching philosophies.
About You
* Work alongside the Football Development Coordinator on the day-to-day schedule of the E&FDCs, whilst ensuring that staff hours are being used effectively in the E&FDC settings and across the wider GFD department.
* Plan, develop and align broader HE/FE activation with domestic calendar to provide added value experiences to players and coaches within these programmes, supporting the Business Development Manager with any partnership activation for all HE/FE partners where required.
* Oversee the coordination of all E&FDC programmes, inclusive of trials, match days, added value initiatives, recruitment days, open events, and partner activations.
* Being the day-to-day point of contact for all programme Head Coaches to support delivery and operational requirements on/off the pitch.
* Support the distribution of kit/equipment/medical supplies/branding for all staff on E&FDC programmes, as well as maintaining an up-to-date inventory of all staff kit.
* Lead on the operational/administrative tasks for all E&FDC programmes, including processing of purchase orders and invoices for E&FDC programmes and managing the customer inbox.
* Lead on the development and implementation of a player communication strategy.
* Conduct meetings with the Domestic Programme Manager and all E&FDC programmes Head Coaches to improve delivery standards and to discuss best practice.
* Build credible relationships with each college lead to support the development and growth of each college programme, year on year, and where appropriate support added value initiatives for each partner.
* Support all E&FDC Marketing campaigns / devise strategies for marketing campaigns by identifying areas that require increase in awareness or to drive recruitment / share success stories.
* Ensure we have presence and exposure at related career festivals / education fairs / pathway events (specifically targeting year 10/11/12 students).
* Work alongside the Operations Manager to produce data for reporting purposes, inclusive of programme engagement data, highlights, survey feedback. Use data to drive insights for the E&FDC strategy.
* Maintain the E&FDC page on the website, collecting case studies and success stories to ensure all imagery and content remains updated.
* Support the department’s Safeguarding Manager, assisting with accident, incident, and risk management. Identify and monitor potential safeguarding concerns and work with Safeguarding Manager to promote safer working practices throughout the programme.
* Monitor the feedback surrounding the quality of delivery of all E&FDC programmes, and work alongside the Player & Coach Pathway Coordinator, GFD Coach Developer and Domestic Programme Manager to devise strategies to improve and drive quality.
* Ensure self and E&FDC programmes adhere to all Club standards, and ensure all procedures and processes are being actively reviewed to ensure they are effective and efficient.

* Experience of working in a post 16 education setting and/or football development programmes
