During your induction, you will work supernumerary with someone supporting you while working through an education pathway.
We have a purpose-built unit consisting of 8 ITU cots, 10 HDU cots, and 12 SC cots. The nursing establishment for the Service complies with the All Wales Neonatal standards regarding staffing, which is 1:1 nursing for ITU babies, 1:2 for HDU babies, and 1:4 for SC babies.
We are looking for enthusiastic, highly motivated Band 6 nurses with a flexible approach to work who are able to work the full nursing rota, including 12-hour shift patterns of days, nights, and weekends. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Applicants are invited from suitably qualified neonatal nurses - Neonatal Modules 1 and 2, ENB 405 or equivalent with sufficient experience at Band 5. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential for this post.
