Our organisation is on the lookout for a dynamic and motivated Corporate Landlord Principal to join our Property & Development teamAbout the Role: As a Corporate Landlord Principal, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day management of our corporate estate, ensuring that we deliver cost-effective property management services aligned with the council's policies and legislation. Your expertise will be essential in demonstrating best value across all property transactions and lease management events.Key Responsibilities: Engagement: Collaborate directly with tenants, external agents, surveyors, and lawyers. Lease Management: Oversee rent reviews, lease renewals, restructures, and expiries. Financial Oversight: Monitor rent collections and approve service charge budgets. Compliance: Conduct property inspections and ensure tenant compliance with leases and statutory obligations. Insurance Coordination: Work with in-house teams on managing claims and valuations. EPC Strategy: Assist in developing and implementing energy performance strategies.About You: To thrive in this role, you will need: A degree in Estate Management or equivalent. Post-qualification experience in commercial organisations or local authorities with relevant investment and development experience. Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in word processing, databases, and spreadsheets. Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to meet commercial and contractual deadlines.
