About the Role: Looking for a pivotal role that blends strategic oversight with operational excellence? As the Operations Controller for Ferrero UK&I, you’ll be the key connection between our Business Unit and Third-Party Logistics providers across the UK and Ireland. This dynamic position ensures seamless distribution and warehousing operations while managing associated costs. You'll focus on maintaining exceptional service levels, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, and driving a culture of continuous improvement. From setting KPIs and managing budgets to coordinating month-end processes and identifying cost-saving opportunities, you'll shape the supply chain strategy while delivering meaningful insights. Main Responsibilities: You will oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth collaboration with Third Party Logistics (3PL) providers to meet service levels and deliver exceptional results. From leading capacity planning to conducting site visits and validating proof of delivery, you'll be at the heart of maintaining operational excellence. You will manage the supply chain budget with precision, analysing trends, identifying efficiencies, and providing actionable insights. Working closely with Finance and international teams, you'll drive cost-saving initiatives and maintain a "cost to serve" document to educate and inspire wider teams. You’ll take charge of supplier relationships, reviewing and approving invoices with meticulous attention to detail. By streamlining processes, resolving discrepancies, and implementing preventive measures, you’ll enhance efficiency and ensure smooth financial operations. You will champion continuous improvement, driving initiatives that optimise operations and reduce complexity. Collaborating with 3PLs, you'll create programmes that elevate service levels, boost cost-effectiveness, and align with company goals. You'll foster strong stakeholder relationships, serving as the key link between departments, 3PLs, and Ferrero Group. From global projects to audits, you'll ensure alignment with standards while supporting and inspiring internal teams. Who we are looking for: You will bring proven experience in 3PL warehouse and transport management, ideally within an FMCG environment, showcasing your ability to navigate the fast-paced and dynamic supply chain landscape. Your strong stakeholder and relationship management skills will help you build lasting partnerships while driving collaboration and results. You will apply your powerful influencing skills at all levels of the organisation, coupled with excellent presentation abilities to effectively communicate your ideas. With advanced Excel and analytical skills, you will excel in turning data into actionable insights that steer decision-making. You will manage projects with precision, relying on your project management expertise to deliver results. Your demonstrated experience in creating and managing spend budgets will ensure financial efficiency and alignment with organisational goals.
