The Candidate:
We are seeking an experienced and driven UK Sales Director to join our dynamic and diverse organisation, operating within a fast-paced environment with significant room to expand and enhance our current offerings. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact on the business. The successful candidate will be experienced in analysing market trends, developing strategic plans and effectively utilising Salesforce to enhance sales performance.
What you'll do:
1. Develop and Execute Sales Strategy: Design and implement a comprehensive sales plan to achieve or exceed revenue and profit targets for the UK business, focusing on driving growth across the full range of product groups and services offered.
2. Lead and Inspire the Sales Team: Motivate, manage, and develop the sales team, fostering engagement and ensuring adherence to company standards and targets while driving the team to exceed objectives.
3. Collaborate with Product Management & Marketing: Partner with the Global Product Management and Marketing Team to align sales and marketing strategies, driving brand awareness and ensuring effective promotion of our complete range.
4. Monitor and Optimise Performance: Regularly review sales performance, using data-driven insights to identify improvement opportunities and adjust strategies to maximise results.
5. Thrive in a Fast-Paced Environment: Manage multiple priorities with a high level of motivation and target-driven focus, demonstrating the ability to adapt and excel in a dynamic and competitive landscape.
What you bring:
1. Extensive Sales Expertise: Solid direct sales experience, preferably with a technical product background and proven commercial acumen in a target-driven environment.
2. Leadership and Team Development: Proven ability to recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing sales team, fostering engagement and implementing best practices and innovation.
3. Strategic Collaboration and Influence: Skilled in aligning and influencing stakeholders and working across multiple functions to achieve shared business objectives.
4. Analytical and Organisational Excellence: Highly structured and detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills, budget management expertise, and a focus on measuring and improving sales performance.
5. Versatility and Communication Skills: A confident public speaker and negotiator with excellent written communication and a willingness to travel as required.
