Rivan Industries (Rivan.com) is a synthetic fuel company designed to decarbonise heavy industry. We’ve developed a unique power-to-fuel machine built for low-capex deployment powered entirely by utility-scale solar. Here’s our entire business plan. We already have individual operating modules of our machine, we’re funded, and we’re now building out the team to bring the vision together and deploy at scale.
We aim to make synthetic fuel cheaper than fossil fuels and sustain life on earth by keeping the CO2 locked underground. We’re looking for a Technical Project Engineer to own our site deployment and lead the interfacing of our solar construction, our modular fuel system, and our gas grid injection and distribution.

The role:
* Project Manage site completion
o Coordinate internal teams across solar planning, manufacturing & Engineering, and Offtaking
o Engage with external entities such as Solar EPCs and Gas Distribution Networks (GDNs)
* Manage and coordinate solar construction
o Array design and construction plan
o Subcontractor and internal construction resource coordination
* Manage the construction of electrical and process interfacing between Solar and the Rivan system
* Coordinate with the Gas Distribution Networks (GDNs) to understand location specific capacity and CV requirements
* Execute connection process with GDNs, feeding back into the Rivan site deployment
* Site layout design and risk assessment
o Execute site-specific design – including water and electrical works, security, access, safety
o Conduct risk assessments across all site areas for safe operation
Core skills:
* 5+ years professional experience within technical project management
* Bachelor’s or Masters in mechanical engineering or related field

* Reasoning by first principles. Can you deconvolute complex scenarios into their foundational truths or parts?
* Urgency. We don’t have time to wait, can you effectively isolate the variables that influence timelines & costs and compress to hit Rivan’s goals?
* Grit. How relentless will you be despite set-backs? We’re going up against some big opposition.

Specifics:
* £70-90K Salary depending on experience
