Taylor Stevenson are proud to be working with a leading manufacturer based in Doncaster who are looking for a marketing assistant to join their team.
The successful candidate will have a keen eye for organisation, a flair for content creation, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with precision. This role requires a balance of analytical skills, creativity, and strong communication, along with a commitment to maintaining our brand standards.
Responsibilities
1. Data & Analytics
* Conduct data analysis to provide insights for marketing campaigns and strategic decisions.
* Track and analyse performance data to help optimise marketing initiatives and measure campaign success.
2. Event & Material Management
* Provide administrative support for events, including tracking and managing event materials.
* Coordinate with internal teams to ensure marketing materials are current and in stock, including showroom resources, giveaways, and brochures.
3. Digital Content Management
* Ensure mobile app content is consistently updated and relevant to current marketing initiatives.
* Assist with app updates and manage any in-app content changes needed.
4. Content Creation & Copywriting
* Assist in the creation of engaging content for promotional materials and other resources.
* Write and edit copy for newsletters, editorial content, and other communications.
* Develop and maintain social media content, ensuring regular posting and engagement with the audience.
5. Sourcing & Budget Management
* Research and source materials needed for marketing initiatives, including giveaways and print production vendors.
* Track budgets for marketing expenses, ensuring projects remain within budget.
6. Campaign Execution & Support
* Support in the execution of campaigns, including tracking results and organising resources.
* Monitor campaign performance and provide support in optimising for better results.
7. Sales Support
* Perform ad hoc tasks to support the sales team, such as formatting price lists, data sheets, and other materials.
Skills
1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
2. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
4. Experience with content creation for social media, newsletters, and other marketing channels
5. Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM or project management tools is a plus.
7. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite or other design software is beneficial but not required.
8. 12 months experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
Working Hours: Monday-Friday 8.30am-5pm
Salary: £24k-£26k dependant on experience
