Client: My client is a Tier 1 M&E contractor specialising in several sectors: Pharmaceutical, Commercial, Data Centre, and Petrochemical. The business has seen significant growth in the last 5 years. With a traditional engineering mindset and reinvestment into new principles, the business expects the next two years to be a similar period of growth. After a successful year, they now sit at a national turnover of over £300m. In the UK, they have just been appointed on a £55m M&E value pharmaceutical project in Surrey.
Role: Intermediate Mechanical Project Engineer - Salary £50,000 - £60,000 + Package Depending on experience
Responsibilities:
1. Design Review (scope gaps)
2. Technical Submittals
3. Procurement (subcontractors, kit, and plant)
4. Programming of work (MS Project)
5. Health and Safety (RAMS)
6. Management of the technical installation
7. Assisting with commissioning
8. Design meetings
9. Day to day running of the Mechanical package
The ideal candidate:
1. Progressed from a trades background and has good technical knowledge within their own discipline (i.e. public health, sprinklers, duct work etc.)
2. Must have experience working in the commercial or industrial sector
3. Experience managing Mechanical packages to a minimum of £3M within your own discipline
4. HNC in Building Services
