A fantastic new opportunity has become available for an IT Data Analyst with one of the world's leading financial institutions, serving individuals, small- and middle-market businesses, large corporations, and governments with a full range of banking, investment management, and other financial and risk management products and services based in Bromley.
Role: IT Data Analyst
Location: Bromley (3 days a week onsite)
Duration: 12 Months
Salary: Circa £68k/ Annum
Experience and Skills Required:
1. Ability to define, document existing processes, and identify improvement opportunities to optimize and automate processes.
2. Experience in Business Analysis and project management.
3. Strong knowledge and experience using Excel and Visio.
4. Knowledge of data visualization analytics and Database Management.
5. Experience and working knowledge of service management frameworks such as ITIL, process frameworks such as BPMN 2.0, and analytical tools such as Tableau.
6. SQL knowledge would be advantageous.
Responsibilities:
1. Produce monthly reporting for the Service Manager to track progress towards objectives, evaluate how well our services are performing, identify potential solutions or challenges, review changes and improvements, and support risk and compliance activities.
2. Conduct interviews of service teams and stakeholders to define and document existing processes into standardized service documentation and identify opportunities to optimize and automate processes.
3. Perform detailed incident aged ticket analysis to identify major ticket drivers, trends, and service improvement opportunities for the Service Manager.
4. Own ad hoc business reporting requests and identify opportunities to enable the business to self-serve based on reporting requirements.
5. Provide analytical support and ad hoc reporting for ongoing and upcoming project rollouts.
6. Knowledge management - review and update end-user service desk material.
7. Collaborate with supporting teams to own and manage the backlog of improvement initiatives.
