An exciting opportunity has arisen within our booking office. We currently have a vacancy for a part time (21.5h) Appointments Booking Clerk to be based at the Conquest Hospital, within the Outpatient Booking Service, in East Sussex Healthcare, NHS Trust.
The department provides a fast and responsive outpatient, appointment booking service. The applicant will be expected to ring and agree dates with our patients as well as performing a rostered telephone session, depending on the service needs, of the department. Therefore, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, IT knowledge, and an ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team, working to strict deadlines. The hours of the service operate between 8am – 6pm Monday - Friday, in shifts of, 08:00-16:00, 09:00 -17:00 and 10:00-18:00, with weekend work 9am – 12 noon on a rota basis.
