Brownlee Cale are recruiting for an Electrical Supervisor for a large civils project in Middlesbrough. Responsibilities Manage, monitor and interpret the design documents supplied by the design team. Act as the main technical adviser on the site for subcontractors. Liaising with all stakeholders to manage electrical related activities, including progressing of programmes, risk assessments and method statements. Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise. Ensure that all materials used, and work performed are in accordance with the design, specifications and employers’ requirements. Have an in depth understanding of all elements of electrical design and construction techniques. Liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general operatives involved in the project. Communicate with clients and their representatives, including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress. Overseeing electrical works to ensure they are being installed as per design. Checking technical design drawings for accuracy and ensuring they are followed correctly.
