The Role
Working within our IT Services Department this varied role will require you to be highly organised with excellent attention to detail, and the ability to act on your own initiative as well as being a strong team player.
You will provide a high-quality support service primarily to the IT Core Leadership Team, but also across the wider IT Services Department as required. This will include administrative support, (e. g. diary management and arranging and attending departmental meetings etc.), purchasing hardware, software and other ad-hoc items on behalf of the department following our purchasing processes, (P2P), updating the IT contracts database and supporting a variety of other operational activities, using appropriate systems and technologies to ensure that an effective and efficient service is provided in a timely manner.
The Person
The successful candidate will need to be a strong team player with excellent people skills and a flexible approach to their work. You will be highly organised with the ability to juggle conflicting demands and meet tight deadlines.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and/or experience:
- Proven experience in a finance or administrative role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to learn new systems and office tools quickly.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Able to prioritise effectively.
