HGV Class 2 Driver PPG Position Summary We now have an exciting, permanent vacancy for an HGV Class 2 Driver within our Architectural Coatings division, based in Carrickfergus. We’re looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working individual to join our friendly and supportive team. Knowledge of the road network throughout Ireland would be desirable but not essential as all training will be given. You must hold a digital tachograph and CPC card. A day in the life of… A HGV Class 2 Driver, your responsibilities will include: Completion of pre-use checks on vehicle. Delivering multi-drop to a range of customers throughout Ireland. Ensuring correct completion of paperwork. Adhering to all drivers’ hours regulations. Compliance with working time directive. Loading your vehicle for the next day. The hours of work for the position are calculated at an average of 48 hours per week over a 17-week reference period, Monday to Friday, including two overnights per week.
