Our commitment to a flexible and hybrid working culture Overview Responsible for conducting quality control tests and analysing results to ensure that released operational systems and infrastructure meet or exceed agreed standards and requirements. Accountabilities • Responsible for the development and execution of comprehensive test plans and test cases • Responsible for the defect tracking process and ensure timely resolution of issues • Design and implement test automation and quality assurance strategies and frameworks • Collaborate closely with development and product teams to ensure test coverage • Provide detailed analysis and reporting of test results to stakeholders • Point of escalation for troubleshooting from junior test engineers • Participate in the continuous improvement of testing processes and best practices • Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements in testing activities Skills • Software testing - understanding of software testing principles, methodologies and tools. • Test Automation - Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks. • Programming languages - Proficiency in programming languages • Analytical and technical problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues • Communication skills - collaborate with cross-functional teams, present technical info and provide training or support • Adaptability - Flexibility to adapt to changing technologies and work • Project management - ability to manage one or multiple projects or project tasks and meet deadlines Knowledge & Experience • Established experience in software testing or a related field • Proven experience in test automation and managing test projects. Qualifications • A degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is advantageous Why join Arqiva?
