We are looking for a Sales Representative (fulltime 40 hours a week). You will be working in and with a small enthusiastic team of inside sales and colleague sales representatives. This role involves being mainly on the road. The sales team meets on-site in the office every week. You should be ready to visit customers around Birmingham and occasionally in other parts of England, Ireland, and Scotland.
As our colleague, you will have many opportunities to develop yourself through training and courses, as well as gaining experience in international business and sales.
Responsibilities:
* Maintaining long-term and improving customer relationships through regular customer visits - readiness to travel;
* Visiting customers primarily in person, with follow-up at the office or via homework (ratio of customer visits/office is 80/20);
* Developing existing accounts and finding new opportunities;
* Managing and expanding product and market knowledge;
* Attending trade fairs, events, and conferences to promote the company;
* Preparing offers and cooperating with sales specialists;
* Providing excellent follow-up after making price quotes for prospects and customers;
* Delivering great customer service (placing orders, checking product availability and delivery times, handling complaints, etc.);
* Contributing to the company's commercial and marketing strategy;
* Researching the local market, fairs, and business opportunities for TME;
* Identifying customer needs and translating these into the sales and marketing strategy;
* Providing reports on daily activities;
* Collaborating with inside sales and account managers.
What do we expect?
* At least 2 years of experience in sales;
* Basic knowledge of electronic components;
* A valid driving license;
* Willingness to work mobile and visit customers 4 days a week;
