About DEMAND
At DEMAND, we envision a world where disability is never a barrier to dignity, opportunity, or the ability to live life to the fullest.
We believe in the inherent worth of every individual. Everyone deserves to be respected as a unique human being, to live with dignity, and to thrive as their best self.
That’s why, for over 43 years, we have dedicated our resources to designing, creating, and sharing life-changing assistive equipment. These innovative products play a critical role in helping disabled people live independently, participate fully in society, and seize the opportunities they deserve.
DEMAND Design & Manufacture for Disability (www.demand.org.uk) is a charity that transforms lives through design. By working closely with disabled people, health professionals, families, and caregivers, we fill the gap between existing solutions and real-world needs delivering tailored equipment that overcomes barriers to inclusion, participation, and independence.
