This is a non-teaching, role focused on supporting pupils with SEN requirements in the classroom. This will involve building strong supportive relationships with the pupil, working closely with the class teacher, assisting in planning and adapting learning activities. We are a small, friendly village school dedicated to improving outcomes for all children and providing first-class pastoral and educational support for all, including those that find traditional teaching environments more challenging. As part of this role, you will; Support children in their personal development and progress through school by providing encouragement, rewards, advice and guidance, induction. Help develop positive learning behaviours, working collaboratively with the class teacher. Support children to be successful in our school and beyond. What you will need to succeed; Experience of working within children in an educational setting is essential. Ability to adhere to working procedures and policies within the school environment. Excellent and effective communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and good ICT skills. Patient, flexible and adaptable, meticulous and conscientious.
