Job summary Virtual Fracture Clinic Administrator Band 3 Permanent Full Time - 37.5 hours per week An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time role as a clinic administrator within our busy Fracture Clinic. Ideally the successful candidate will have previous NHS experience as the role will involve varied administrative duties as part of a small team. The candidate must have experience working in a busy environment and be capable of prioritising their workload. The candidate will have good communication and organisational skills. They will be confident to work both independently as well as part of a small team. It is understood that the post holder will be required to participate in a flexible working hours system currently Monday to Friday between the hours of 07.15 and 17.00 but the successful post holder may in the future be required to work over seven days if service requires. Main duties of the job o To be an effective member of the Trauma Orthopaedic Department by providing a high standard of clerical services with particular responsibility to the VFC Service.o To help maintain links and effective communication between Trauma Orthopaedics, the Emergency Department and primary care using administrative systems effectively.o To act as a resource for patients and other staff, facilitating the timely access to care according to care pathways and protocols.o To contribute to the training of others and oversee the work of others when required.
