Job Description
Summary
Reporting into the FSQ Team Lead, this role will support the FSQ department and the Site to ensure food safety and quality goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support the FSQ department and the Site with the KHMS requirements and implementation of action plans.
2. Contribute to effective investigation and outcomes of quality incidents, internal and external complaints.
3. Support the FSQ department and Site decisions and actions to reduce customer complaints and improve right first time production.
4. Participate in the FSQ department internal audit schedule and validation schedule.
5. Assist with projects and decisions regarding product sampling and testing.
6. Represent the FSQ department when there are new product, process or packaging developments.
7. Provide quality module training to other departments.
8. Assist the FSQ department's responsibilities for reporting and steering meetings.
9. Ensure all product released from the site's control meets the Customer and/or company specification and processing requirements.
10. Maintain accountability and reporting based on site verifications related to Golden Rules.
About you
1. Good interpersonal skills.
2. Ability to grasp technical concepts.
3. Ability to influence stakeholders with facts.
4. Understanding of low acid and acid food safety.
5. Decision making ability on product quality.
6. Experience with quality risk assessment.
7. High level of computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PPT).
8. High level of personal integrity and sense of right and wrong.
9. Technical experience in the food industry.
