Are you a technical expert with a knack for innovative solutions in water and wastewater networks? Severn Trent Services is looking for a dynamic Network Development Lead to drive high-profit business opportunities and deliver complex hydraulic and data analysis studies.
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
In this role, you will generate new business opportunities and manage water and wastewater networks, delivering innovative solutions and engaging with stakeholders like the MOD and developers. You will oversee the MOD Estate Development process, influence senior leadership on strategy, and ensure third-party assets meet standards.
Key responsibilities include:
* Conducting analytical studies.
* Resolving team skills gaps.
* Building stakeholder relationships.
* Providing excellent customer care.
* Driving continuous improvement.
* Leading your team to achieve project goals and service level agreements.
Some of the other accountabilities:
* Protect and manage MOD water & wastewater networks.
* Ensure third-party constructed assets meet design standards.
* Conduct complex analytical studies and deliver creative solutions.
* Identify and resolve skills gaps within the team.
* Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
* Provide best-in-class customer care and consistent reporting.
* Drive continuous improvement and develop long-term strategies.
* Lead and inspire your team to achieve project goals and service level agreements.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
To succeed in this role, it is expected that you will have:
* Comprehensive knowledge of water and wastewater network operations.
* Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
* Experience in team working and stakeholder management.
* Proven leadership skills to inspire great performance.
* Obtain MOD security clearance.
* Full UK Driving Licence and advanced IT skills.
