About the Role:
We are seeking a Secure Children's Service Manager to lead our team of dedicated professionals. As a key member of our management team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our service and ensuring the well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
* Service Development: Lead the development and implementation of our service strategy, working closely with stakeholders to ensure that our service meets the needs of our residents and the wider community.
* Staff Supervision: Directly supervise and support a team of residential care workers, ensuring they have the resources and training needed to deliver excellent care.
* Compliance: Ensure that our service operates within regulatory requirements, maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
Requirements:
To succeed as a Secure Children's Service Manager, you will need:
* Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People (or equivalent) and a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Children & Young People (or willingness to work towards this).
* Experience: Significant management experience within a residential youth care setting, with a proven track record of delivering results and improving outcomes.
* Leadership Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to motivate and inspire teams.
