About The Role:
Reporting into the VP, Marketing.
This talented SDR will work closely with the VP Marketing to grow the enterprise sales pipeline to enable the field sales force to execute on the revenue growth plan for the company.
As the one and only Sales Development Representative, you are the backbone of our revenue pipeline.
You'll develop a tight partnership with your Account Executives, who rely on your tenacious drive to connect companies with innovative business solutions. You're the first point of contact for external executives to learn more about what Tradeshift can do.
Our SDR set up is very focussed. We work 3 types of leads:
1. All the inbound demo requests and new logo initial sales questions
2. Follow up leads from all marketing events, including external events/speaking opps, internal and external webinars, content form fills, promoted social, etc
3. Previous worked leads which are recycled because we believe they might be showing intent
Regularly attend, absorb and utilise on-line training and organised training throughout the year
Commercial acumen: knowing your numbers
Experience
We’re looking for an SDR with:
* 2-3 years experience of sales development, preferably with a SaaS business
* Outbound calling experience in B2B, involving a complex set of enterprise solutions
* Our ICP is global enterprises with revenue of over $500m, so you’ll need experience with larger companies (not SMEs).
* Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Understand selling process and planning, to maintain momentum of the pipeline
* Demonstrate empathy and listening to join the dots, matching customer needs with internal solutions
* Demonstrated strong leadership abilities
* Ambitious and driven to succeed in sales
* Proven record of hitting targets
* Experience using Salesforce and other Marketing CRM tools
* Based in the UK.
What’s different about this SDR position
The SDR team is currently a one person operation.
Although we full expect this will change over time, as the team grows.
As a result, we're not looking for a first time SDR, or someone for whom this is their first role/SDR role/sales role.
While this person will work very closely day-to-day with the VP marketing because this is a one person operation at the present time this individual will need to be very much a self starter, self motivated.
This job is fully remote, although the team does meet in London from time to time.
This SDR arrangement will obviously suit some individuals, and not suit others

The salary on offer reflects the slightly more senior nature of this SDR position.
