The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join the ‘Bolton Family’ and be a part of our Childrens Social Care administration team. The role is to support the scheduling of Initial and Review Conferences, based with the Child Protection Unit. The administrator role is key to ensuring the smooth running of services and the role is exciting and varied.
You will be preparing and sending out invite letters for Child Protection conferences, including verifying attendees and booking rooms. Re-arranging conferences and sending letters/updates to attendees as required. You will be collating requests for reports ensuring they are received in time for the relevant Conference. Sending out notifications of discontinued/stepped down plans. Checking GP involvement and updating records accordingly. You will action Transfer-in requests. Monitor the Child Protection Unit inbox and deal/signpost any queries as required. You will add and update case notes to the relevant child’s record on Liquid Logic database.
You will join a committed team who are proud of the service they deliver to help children, young people and families achieve their potential. Training will be given to support the successful candidate in fulfilling the role.
About You
You will demonstrate effective communication skills in order to present information both verbally and in writing. You will have the ability to work as part of a team and under your own supervision. You should be able to demonstrate effective organisational skills, with the ability to plan, develop and prioritise your work. You must possess accurate literacy skills to ensure correct information is collated and processed and have good systems skills.
You will have experience of using a range of computer software packages to produce accurate, well-presented documents.
