Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Dartford
Shift Pattern: 3-shift rotation (8.5-hour shifts: earlies, lates, and nights)
Salary: £55,000 per annum + Overtime Opportunities + Soft Benefits

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a busy distribution centre in Dartford. About the Role: As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for:
* Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on conveyor systems and associated equipment.
* Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime.
* Performing routine inspections and ensuring equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
* Collaborating with the operations team to identify and implement improvements to processes and systems.
* Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role, ideally within a distribution, manufacturing, or similar environment.
* Strong mechanical skills with experience working on conveyor systems.
* Basic electrical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
* Relevant qualifications in engineering (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent) are desirable.
* A strong focus on health and safety practices.
