Senior Project Manager Management/Oracle Suite of Products (Oracle Ebusiness/ Oracle Fusion) – London
Your role
In the role of Project Manager, you will focus on the delivery of large complex IT programs. The responsibilities would include management of scope, schedule, risks, configuration, change, communication, issue escalation, budget, quality, delivery, and people with the objective of ensuring program management of highest standards.
Responsibilities
1. Strong CXO level stakeholder management. Directly interacting with higher-level executives in both client and client organizations which comprise of CTO, Vice Presidents, and Senior Directors.
2. Develop and carry out detailed program management plan, setup implementation mechanism to ensure defined process is followed by the program team.
3. Define program objective and align with strategic goals.
4. Contribute to definition of business case & program charter alignment.
5. Identify key stakeholders and define the disposition of each of the stakeholders to the program.
6. Conduct risk assessment and log, name & characterize risks and propose a risk mitigation plan.
7. Coordinate with track owners, seek inputs, compile & construct scope documents including hard and soft commitments.
8. Draw a master schedule, coordinate and conduct individual meetings with track owners to detail out the stated milestone and to capture deviations and escalate the exceptional deviations.
9. Prepare, execute/facilitate (scheduling & conducting meetings, preparing artifacts) various activities as per the communication plan.
10. Establish upstream and downstream traceability, conduct scope reviews to ensure delivery is as per the plan.
11. Ensure that configuration plan is followed, and artifacts recorded to ensure integrity of documents/code & any other artifacts.
12. Discuss with individual tracks and prepare Human/IT resource planning and execute its onboarding processes.
13. Prepare and maintain program status reports.
14. Provide advisory services to clients on their Infrastructure, Cloud, Security, Application roadmap strategy, including rationalization and modernization roadmaps.
15. Exercise wide latitude in discretionary decision making related to people, financials, contract changes and service management.
16. Improve risk posture for the client by strong focus on risk reduction strategies.
17. Induct strong global talents to serve the client thereby improving workforce quality and flexible resource pool.
Required
1. 5+ years of experience
2. Experience in executing large scale multi-dimensional complex programs involving Oracle e-business suite R/R application upgrade/implementation.
3. Must possess business-consulting skills to engage C-suite and other P&L leaders on the client's executive team.
4. Strong understanding of all aspects of program management.
5. Good people management skills to drive program objectives.
6. Innovative mindset with strong conviction for service delivery excellence.
7. Strong client interfacing skills and stakeholder management.
Preferred
1. Strong business and domain understanding of Infra, cloud and transformation technologies.
2. High Impact communication skills.
3. 5+ years of experience in managing medium to large complex transformation/transition/service delivery with large organizations will be preferred.
4. Experience in managing and driving technology initiatives in Application, Infrastructure, Cloud areas.
