Duration: End of April - Potential to extend 1 year contract
Location: 2-3 days onsite London and sometimes Birmingham / Occasional travel to France
Rate: £1000 - £1200 (Inside IR35)
The Project: You’ll be joining our client Project where we are helping our client define their transformation journey enabled by the latest technology - generating insights to illuminate innovative ideas, creating valuable experiences for customers, achieving huge cost savings or embracing new collaborative mindsets.
The Role: As the Solutions Architect Director, you will be the trusted advisor and technical authority, responsible for architecting and delivering robust IFS solutions that directly address our client's strategic business objectives. You will build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, particularly CIOs, ensuring their confidence in our deep expertise and ability to deliver successful outcomes. You will lead a team and provide strategic direction for the technical design and implementation of the IFS platform.
Responsibilities include:
1. Client Engagement: Act as the primary technical liaison with senior clients, building trust and translating their needs into actionable IFS solutions.
2. Solution Architecture: Design and architect scalable, secure IFS solutions that align with client strategy, ensuring comprehensive documentation and risk mitigation.
3. Project Execution: Lead the technical delivery of IFS projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards, while providing team guidance.
4. Business Alignment: Bridge business processes and technology by analyzing client needs and ensuring IFS solutions support their strategic IT goals.
5. Team Management: Lead and develop a team of solutions architects, fostering collaboration and ensuring high-quality solution delivery.
Experience required:
1. Extensive experience (10-15 years) within IFS, both pre-sales and delivery experience.
2. Extensive experience in architecting and delivering IFS solutions.
3. Proven track record of success in leading complex IT projects.
4. Strong understanding of business processes and their alignment with technology.
5. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior executives.
6. Deep knowledge of IFS functional modules and technical architecture.
7. Experience with integration technologies and data management.
8. Experience working with CIO level clients.
9. Relevant certifications (e.g., IFS certifications) are highly desirable.
