Location: Worcester - Onsite 5 days a week
Contract Duration: 17/03/2025 - 10/03/2026
My client is looking for a Tech Bar Engineer to join their team. This role is probably for someone who is nearer the start of their career with experience in Windows 10 & Windows 11.
The Tech Bar hours are 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Candidates will need to be flexible to work on a rota with another engineer to cover early and late shifts as required.
Duties to Include:
* Assistance with IT-related queries and general basic enquiries
* Assist users with logging into and logging tickets within ServiceNow
* Complete administration within ServiceNow (log, update, and close tickets)
* Check progress of IT support calls if requested
* Perform hardware diagnostics to determine if a fault is related to hardware failure or software/user profile issues; check warranty and report to supplier or replace if out of warranty from stock
* Device rebuilds ensuring compliance before re-issue (configured with latest Windows updates)
* Install and troubleshoot software
