We are seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Engineer to play a crucial role in ensuring our engineering services meet and exceed operational requirements, delivering and outperforming KPI standards. You will be responsible for resolving issues efficiently and minimizing downtime, ensuring our equipment and machinery operate at peak performance.
Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM): Achieve 100% completion of PPMs issued by the Senior Engineer/Maintenance Manager and address any issues promptly.
Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Complete RCAs for all breakdowns exceeding the agreed duration, implement identified countermeasures, and complete 5-WHY inputs.
Asset Care: Maintain an up-to-date Asset Care workbook, complete weekly line walks, and resolve open actions.
Improvements: Proactively identify and execute improvement projects across the site.
Shift Readiness: Ensure equipment is ready for shift start, product changes, and shut down correctly.
Performance Monitoring: Review KPIs every shift to maintain focus on delivery and cost, and consistently report all activities, including breakdown repair.
Health & Safety: Adhere to health & safety and food hygiene regulations, and support initiatives to minimize site waste and maintain high OEE levels.
Energy and Drive: Results-driven, action-oriented, and motivated by challenges.
Apprenticeship/Technical background in Electrical/Mechanical (Level 3 NVQ or equivalent), strong technical aptitude, organizational skills, attention to detail, basic PC skills, and effective communication.
Experience in food manufacturing.
Quality Assurance:
Perform all duties in accordance with Quality Assurance procedures and contribute to improvements in the quality and key activities of the department.
Training:
Participate in training as required to enhance skills and knowledge.
Adhere to Health & Safety policies, procedures, and training, and report any safety hazards to the HSE representative.
