Dorset Wildlife Trust has a vacancy for a part time (21 hours) Administration Assistant to provide high quality clerical and resource support at our HQ Offices on the outskirts of Dorchester.
This post will be managed by the Executive PA & Office Manager and will support the organisation in a wide range of administration tasks, including direct responsibility for answering or signposting of general enquiries through email or main phone line routes. The post sits within the Finance & Resources team and will work as one of two administration assistants in the team.
A small team of volunteers provide an effective Front of House support role, and the postholder will work with and support the volunteers in providing the signposting role that the organisation requires.
This is a fixed term, 12 month contract post of 21 hours (3 days) per week, with a possibility of further extension. Office hours are 9am - 5pm weekdays. Dorset Wildlife Trust operates a hybrid working model, allowing for some home working; however, due to the nature of the role, it is expected that the majority of the time will be office based.
