EYFS Specialist Teachers required for supply work in Primary Schools across the Wirral.
Your new company
Due to the increase in demand from Wirral schools, and more schools working in partnership with Hays Education, we are urgently looking for experienced and newly qualified Primary Teachers with strong EYFS teaching experience to cover last minute and longer term supply vacancies within EYFS classes.
Working as an EYFS supply teacher for Hays Education, you will be working for the Wirral's market leader. We have exclusive partnerships with schools across the peninsula, giving you access to the largest and widest range of supply teaching work available.
Your new role
You will undertake short-term and last minute EYFS teaching work covering illness, courses, PPA etc., or rewarding long-term assignments. Usually long-term assignments will come about through maternity cover, sickness cover, and interim cover. You will have the opportunity to work in a role that is flexible around your needs and lifestyle. Working for Hays Education will enable you to work on a full-time or part-time basis to suit your commitments. As a Hays Education EYFS Supply Teacher, you will be able to work in a variety of schools, from one form to large three and four form entry schools, and in a range of classes and school cultures.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful EYFS Supply Teacher you will need:
1. A recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
2. A valid DBS check (or be willing to apply for one).
3. A minimum of 6 months of UK teaching experience in the last 2 years.
4. Recent teaching experience within an early years classroom setting.
5. To be an approachable, friendly and patient teacher.
6. The ability to immediately embrace new surroundings and situations, and quickly build rapport with pupils, staff, and parents.
7. Be able to employ a range of appropriate and effective behaviour management strategies and demonstrate a professional manner at all times.
8. Good communication skills, as these are crucial when speaking to pupils and other staff in the school.
