As a Logistics Coordinator within Yorkshire Water, you will be responsible for the coordination of consignments and maintenance packs for onward delivery to site and ensuring that all shipments are tracked from the point of origin to the destination. This includes keeping tabs on schedules, transit times, and delivery statuses. In this role, youll demonstrate relentless drive, energy and determination to deliver sustainable outperformance for Yorkshire Water that rigorously achieves against demanding competitive industry benchmarks. Were looking for someone who can demonstrate financial awareness when making day to day business decisions and be responsible for the support of the co-ordinated output of the logistics team. Youll work closely with the Logistics Team Leader and the Logistics Team providing general administrative support where required as well as training and developing new starters. Where you fit in: As our Logistic coordinator you will be responsible for the coordination of consignments and maintenance packs for onward delivery to site ensuring that all shipments are tracked from the point of origin to the destination. This includes keeping tabs on schedules, transit times, and delivery statuses. Acting as a liaison between suppliers, carriers, and customers to ensure smooth and timely delivery. This involves constant communication to manage expectations and resolve any issues. Responsible for updating and managing a range of different weekly and monthly reports for restocking and spend. Responsible for raising and receipting purchase orders in Ariba What skills & qualifications you will need: Full UK driving licence Experience of understanding where your role fits within a business plan and then developing ways to deliver the outputs. To develop and maintains effective internal and external relationships. To influence and drive the right culture and behaviours. Clearly demonstrates the Yorkshire Water company values and behaviours. Comprehensive knowledge of stock management system and SAP. To take ownership of area in terms of supporting and advocating a safe working environment by implementing and adhering to health and safety procedures. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Influencing and negotiating ability to be demonstrated internally and externally. The ability to work flexibly and deliver results. To be highly motivated and with a clearly demonstrated ability to use own initiative and deal with events and the unforeseen.
