SRG are excited to be working with an innovative biotechnology organisation to help them find a People Advisor to join their HR team.
Are you a HR Assistant looking for a fantastic opportunity to move into a new role which offers real potential for growth and development?
To be considered for this role, you will have proven experience working as a HR Assistant or similar within a fast-paced environment and will have a good generalist background. You will collaborate with the Director of People and Culture and in partnership with the business to implement the key deliverables within the People Strategy.
Responsibilities:
* You will work alongside the Director of People and Culture to support the implementation and delivery of the People Plan, across the business.
* You will be the first point of contact for all HR queries, whilst supporting a range of projects and activities across the employee lifecycle.
* Building and maintaining positive relationships with key stakeholders and external partners to make decisions regarding operational delivery. You will play a pivotal role in supporting and coaching Line Managers.
* Accountable for ensuring a smooth end-to-end recruitment journey and supporting hiring managers throughout the process.
* Supporting the induction process for all new recruits to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
* Seeking out improvements to all aspects of the employee lifecycle, specifically talent retention, performance management, development and exits.
* You will implement and support the company-wide wellbeing programme, working closely with the HSE Manager and the social committee.
* Maintaining a clear understanding and providing up to date knowledge of the legal framework within which HR operates, so you can provide expert HR advice, guidance and coaching to line managers and employees.
* Administer and maintain all transactional HR documentation and be the subject matter expert for the HR systems.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a similar role. Minimum CIPD Level 3 qualified.
* Up to date knowledge of employment law and legislation and someone who is comfortable in supporting Line Managers with employee relations case work.
* Confident communicator with sound interpersonal skills; capable of establishing strong connections with employees across all levels of the company.
* Experience in using key HR software and systems.
* Able to work within a fast-paced environment and prioritise workload effectively.
* Able to demonstrate problem solving, decision making and influencing skills.
* Proactive, independent and able to take initiative.
* Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
* A team player with strong communication skills and a proactive approach.
