Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will work closely with children on a 1:1 basis, providing tailored support and interventions to meet their individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the development and implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs) for students with SEMH, ASD, and ADHD.
* Provide 1:1 support to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Support classroom activities and help manage student behavior.
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure the holistic development of each child.
* Monitor and document student progress, adapting support strategies as necessary.
Requirements:
* Relevant qualifications or experience in supporting children with SEMH, ASD, and ADHD.
* Proven experience working with children on a 1:1 basis.
* Strong understanding of inclusive education practices and strategies.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
