Key Relationships
The holder of this position will work closely with the Commercial Support Manager to build and maintain a close relationship with existing accounts. The candidate will be responsible for answering phones, running usage reports, responding to billing queries, and outlining any billing issues to the billing manager.
The Role
As part of their duties, the Commercial Support Administrator will act as part of a small, cohesive team, working closely with account managers to resolve customer issues. Strong emphasis will be placed upon being logical, pro-active, and process-driven.
Responsibilities include:
1. Manage customer queries on billing & usage within the required SLAs, working with internal teams to reach a successful conclusion.
2. Raise any issues that may affect billing with the billing manager/commercial support manager.
3. Create and provide accurate usage reports for customers using in-house systems.
4. Create customer commercials using in-house platforms to enable accurate billing.
5. Occasional support with tasks for monthly billing runs.
6. Liaise with departments where appropriate, co-ordinate and propose business solutions that meet customer needs in a timely manner.
7. Ensure agreed service levels are met and client expectations are achieved.
8. Regularly communicate progress to enhance customer service experience.
9. Liaise with customers via phone, online chat, and Zendesk (ticketing system).
10. Monitor ongoing customer commitments to ensure all are met accordingly.
11. Co-ordinate and provide new supplier requirements.
12. Validate and process customer change of ownership requests.
13. Ad-hoc project work.
Skills Required:
1. Strong organisation and time management skills.
2. Good IT skills.
3. Intermediate skills in Excel are desired.
4. GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths, grades A-C.
5. A-Levels are desirable.
